Experience is gain through practical or on site when we carry out detection in different locations and dealing with different type of leakage. The more detections done during site-inspections, the more experience we gain. Lots of mistakes will be made during these time. Lesson learn as each mistakes encounter.

Skill

Skill is learnable and trainable to do thing better or well that can be acquire during the course of detection. Skill in detection gain when company is doing what they are strong in example in this case is detection on water leakage. It a combination of knowledge acquired mixed with experience gained. This will help in correct detection of water leakage during site-inspection.

Detection

Detection consist of 30% visual, 30% fact findings and 40% diagnosis. Visual is what is observe during site-inspection; most importantly is what is see at the water OUT. Fact findings is what we discovered from the person who reported the leakage. Diagnosis is using what visual and fact finding to determine the origin of leakage.

There is no 100% full proof on the origin of leakage as it is subjected to secondary cause; this cause will only surface when the main source of leakage is repair and during monitoring period.
