The Elimination Process

The elimination process is normally used for testing of computer code. Computer code made up of instructions work in a logical sequence. It based on IF..THEN..ELSE.., meaning it discard first then process the instructions. This process is being used for testing code in the computer by the engineer.

With the data gather from the findings on water IN and water OUT via visual or equipments measurement and investigating. Through the process of elimination, types of not possible leakage from the list of possible leakage is deleted.

The process elimination start from the top possible leaks to the lowest possible leaks. We have to ensure that the possibility of leakage is not from upper level by making sure that the existing unit ceiling do not have sign of leakage.

This process may end up with one source and sometime more. If there is 2 or more causes of possible leakage, we may need to carry out some test or investigation to eliminate either one of them till there only left with one.

This elimination process require to list the possible types of leakage that can be found within the detection. This is a complicated process that require skill, knowledge and experience are put into used.

It would not be effective when the cause of leakage is determine without dismissing other possible leakage. It would be efficient using elimination where the origin source of leakage is detected by discarded listed of possible leakage that end with only one possible cause.

The basic of elimination is to phase out possibility of water from the top as water leakage is trace from bottom up and water always flow downward. The very top is the origin where is leakage is found.

This process of elimination is the act of considering and rejecting each possible choice until only one is left. It is a logical method to identify the cause of leakage among several ones. In the process, it is deleting options whereby the possibility of an option being correct is compared to other option.

There are factors to be consider during the process of elimination. These are internal or external.
